Summer Camp Staff Comprehensive Training
To facilitate the collective needs of camp administrators, Green Earth Outdoors offers a comprehensive summer camp staff training program that will give your camp staff, counselors and trip leaders the critical skills and knowledge for successfully facilitating outings and nature-based activities.
Training Format
Offered in either a weeklong format (Mon-Sat) or a two-weekend format (Fri-Sun x 2), typically in the Spring prior to the summer camp season, this comprehensive training provides three sessions which includes certification in Wilderness First Aid/CPR, Leave No Trace Trainer, and Outdoor Leadership.
The training is generally conducted at your camp but a training site can also be arranged for your group. To ensure the best learning environment, this training requires a minimum of six participants, but the same six participants aren’t required for each of the three sessions. Administrators may mix and match their participants to best accommodate their training needs.
