This Green Earth Outdoors T shirt is made from pre-consumer fibers and clippings that are collected after the cut and sew process at clothing factories and then sorted by color and blended. The regenerated fibers retain the color of the original recycled t-shirt or garment so less dyes are used. By using these scrap fibers, it also reduces incinerator and landfill use; and since no new cotton has to be grown, there is no land use, no water irrigation, and no fertilizers or pesticides. The simplified manufacturing process also reduces energy and other valuable resources. And to top it all off, the more you wear it the softer it gets. Front has Green Earth logo in upper left crest and Adventures for a Cooler WorldSM across the back. Colors: Linen or Sage. Sizes: S-XL.
Over 50 billion plastic water bottles were used by Americans last year and 38 billion of them were thrown away and never recycled. Make the switch and use a refillable bottle instead. Along with helping the environment, using your own bottle will also save you cash. A faucet filer or filter pitcher can provide the same quality as most bottled waters. This rugged bottle will provide years of service and help Mother Earth in the process. Double the difference you can make by getting one for you and a friend. Available in grey, amber, slate and moss.
Additional Information on polycarbonate bottles.

Update and Expanded!
By Richard Louv, 390 pages, Paperback
About the book
Richard Louv was the first to identify a phenomenon we all knew existed but couldn't quite articulate: nature-deficit disorder. His book Last Child in the Woods created a national conversation about the disconnection between children and nature, and his message has galvanized an international movement. Now, three years after its initial publication, we have reached a tipping point, with Leave No Child Inside initiatives adopted in at least 30 regions within 21 states, and in Canada, Holland, Australia, and Great Britain.
This new edition reflects the enormous changes that have taken place since the book—and this grassroots movement— were launched. It includes:
- 101 Things you can do to create change in your community, school, and family.
- Discussion points to inspire people of all ages to talk about the importance of nature in their lives.
- A new afterword by the author about the growing Leave No Child Inside movement.
- New and updated research confirming that direct exposure to nature is essential for the physical and emotional health of children and adults.
This is a book that will change the way you think about your future and the future of your children.

One Man’s Crusade to Clean America’s Rivers
By Chad Pregracke, with Jeff Barrow, 320 pages, Hardcover
About the book
Author and crusader Chad Pregracke, with Jeff Barrow, chronicles his incredible journey cleaning up America’s rivers one tire at a time. What started as one man’s crusade has become an ever-evolving worldwide movement to educate people and connect them with their environment.
While working as a commercial shell diver in high school and college, Chad was overwhelmed by the amount of trash that littered the bottom of the Mississippi, a shocking sight that launched him on a quest to do something. After four discouraging years seeking government help without success, Chad took his fundraising efforts private. He landed a corporate sponsor who was impressed by the environmentalist’s determination, passion and drive to make a difference.
Ten years later, Chad’s one-man project has grown into a $500,000 operation with more than 60 sponsors. His grassroots, can-do spirit thrives aboard a 135-foot barge that serves as a floating environmental classroom and an inspiration to people of all ages and backgrounds.
Peepers,Porcupines, and Exploding Puff Balls!
By Henry W. Art and Michael W. Robbins, 128 pages, Paperback
About the book
Kids love to be outdoors, to spend time wandering down leaf-carpeted paths, turning over rocks, and experiencing the different textures of moss, tree bark, and prickly shrubs. Written by an expert naturalist, WOODSWALK offers guided tours for all four seasons and all regions of North America, highlighting special creatures, conditions, and events every step of the way. Aspiring young naturalists will learn how to see beyond their own noses, "read" the woods for signs of the presence of animals, interpret sounds, and identify odors. They will also be instructed what NOT to touch or taste in the woods. With enough identification information on trees, terrain, plants, and wildlife for a hundred walks in the woods, this book is the complete first primer for the inquisitive young naturalist. Includes a cut-off, pocket-sized leaf and tree spy guide.
