Problem Solving that Leads to Effective Decision Making
Problems, challenges, obstacles, or whatever you want to call them are ever present. We see them as opportunities to improve. This fun, hands-on session will eliminate the mental barriers to dealing with problems, including what is a real versus perceived problem. We will practice using tools for finding workable solutions and breaking down the tasks for resolution into manageable steps. Additionally, this session offers effective techniques for making logical and credible decisions during problem solving including tips for preventing the problems from happening again.
Managing Conflict-Prevention and Positive Resolution
Differences of experiences, perspectives, and understanding can all lead to conflict. But learning to understand the early signs of conflict and treating them appropriately can turn differences into creative solutions. Participants will get hands on experience for recognizing the useful energy created in conflict and redirecting it into positive outcomes that benefit both sides and the task at hand.
Setting and Achieving Goals
It’s no secret that people who are happy make better team members. But in today’s fast-paced and chaotic society, many people feel overwhelmed, off track and struggle with issues like self-esteem, relationships, health, career and finances. This session takes the guesswork out of setting goals and provides participants with realistic tools and steps for minimizing the fears and perceived risks of going after what they want. You can’t make your team members happy, only they can do that. But this individual-centered session can help put them back in control toward achieving the happiness they desire.
Project Planning-From Here to There and Beyond
Projects are everywhere and keeping them on time, within budget and meeting the organizations objective can be a daunting task. This session simplifies the entire process into effective and easy to remember steps. We will explore ways to capitalize on work from previous projects to benefit the project at hand. Working as teams and individuals, participants will practice the critical components of creating, implementing, monitoring, controlling and delivering the project. And finally, we will examine how to identify, select and motive teams members to achieve the desired result.
Creating a Loyal Customer
In today’s competitive marketplace, great customer service isn’t good enough. We know keeping a customer is much less costly than getting a new one, yet organizations continue to struggle with customer retention. This session details strategies that will retain customers by exceeding their expectations and turn them into advocates and a referral source for your business. Participants will practice highly effective ways to interact with customers before, during and after the sale and examine common mistakes and how to avoid them
Understanding Yourself and Others (Interpersonal Effectiveness)
Anyone who works with or manages others wishes for a competence that will allow them to communicate effectively to a broad range of personalities and situations. This session allows participants to develop a critical awareness of their own personality style and how they are perceived by others. Then by learning about the other styles other than their own, they will explore ways to effectively communicate, leverage influence on others, mitigate conflict, enhance performance and motivation, and use the differences as an advantage.
Listening: The Crux of Communication
True communication goes beyond the sender, message and receiver. This session gives participants practical skills for effective listening as well as giving and receiving feedback to ensure that the message is clearly understood the first time. We will examine barriers to communication, how to recognize them and move beyond them, and how communication styles and methods must vary for different personality types.
